The Society for Women in Philosophy Switzerland (SWIP CH) was established in September 2017 as a non-profit society with the aim to combat gender inequality in the field of philosophy. This includes connecting women and their allies to create a support network, educating about issues which impact women in academia, providing career support resources to women as well as providing space to discuss issues that impact women generally.

We are thrilled to announce that the inaugural SWIP CH Networking Conference will take place on 23-24 November 2018 in Bern!
In addition to a poster exhibition, which is open to students of all levels (BA to PhD) as well as PostDocs, the conference will include 12 presentations from established philosophers working at Swiss universities. They will give a short presentation of their current topic of study and present a brief review of their field of research. The event is public and free of charge.
